Week 62 - Winter has begun πŸ₯Άβ„️

Yep. It's cold and snowy now. It's funny how fast the weather changed. It was still decently warm last week, but now there's a foot of snow on the ground and it's stayed below freezing since. It makes working outside less fun, but we don't let it slow us down πŸ’ͺ😀

We did lots of good work this week! Met lots of new people and had some awesome lessons. 5 of our friends came to church yesterday which was hype! One of our friends is getting baptized next week so look forward to that! We had zone conference and it was as inspiring as ever. Apart from that I don't have any super interesting stories to share. I got some funny Magic cards though! πŸ˜…

I do have 1 regret this week, happened yesterday actually, and that was getting a ghost pepper burger from a local burger place here. A lot of places put "ghost pepper" on things for branding and sales but those things aren't actually that spicy. For example: the ghost pepper ranch dressing at Wendy's. It's spicy, but not that spicy. I was expecting this burger to be the same… boy was I wrong. This thing had straight diced ghost pepper on it and man was it spicy. It might be the spiciest thing I've ever eaten. It was painful. I felt nauseous afterward, and still do feel a tiny bit nauseous. So yeah, don't get the ghost pepper burger from Iceburg drive-in in Winkler Manitoba unless you want to burn your intestines. The ice cream was good though! It might have had soy and added to the issue, but I haven't bothered to actually check πŸ˜‚

That's all for now! A lot happened this week but nothing super interesting or worth writing about. Just a lot of steady work and steady success πŸ™Œ πŸ’ͺ

It's a great day to be a missionary!
