Week 11 - Beep Beep

This week has been pretty good! I don't have any crazy stories about doing a 360 off the road this week, but it was still fun! The snow is still coming, but it slowed down a bit, and we actually got to see the sun a couple times! That was especially nice, since it was hiding behind the clouds for weeks. Don't worry, me and Elder Mendenhall got some Vitamin D supplements so that we don't get sick from the lack of it.

We finally made it to the Pas Library again this week! It was super fun, they had us re organize the toy closet, and there were lots of toys and things that we recognized from out childhoods. For example: the road map rug that literally everyone had at one point. We also finished organizing it faster than they expected, they expected it to be a multiple day kinda deal but we did it in an hour. On top of that, we had time to mess around in between, chaos ensues:

We also met the Thompson Elders in Snow Lake for an exchange, and we had dinner together at a local burger place! It was really good, and I really enjoyed the poutine. Something really funny that happened, was I was the only one with my bag. Everyone else left there's in the car, and they said things like: "why are you bringing your bag in? Just leave it in the car. You don't need it, it'll probably get stolen." They were mostly joking, and I was stubborn and brought my bag in anyway. Well, a nice man named Jeremy approached us, and asked about what we were doing. We told him about how we were missionaries, spreading joy and teaching the gospel. Then, he asked if we had pamphlet or something we could share with him. AND GUESS WHO HAD A PAMPHLET IN HIS BAG. YEAH. ME. THIS IS WHY I ALWAYS KEEP MY BAG WITH ME. Afterwards, Elder Mendenhall said he'd never give me flack for bringing my bag places I probably don't need it ever again haha.

That's about it for this week! Tomorrow we're driving to Winnipeg so that'll be fun! It's a great day to be a missionary!
