Week 43 - Dad Jokes and Sick Folks
It's been a good week! We filmed a video of President Carr talking about his dad for Father's Day, which is up on the Hope Ahead page now! We also filmed a Book of Mormon testimony video, which we're hoping to post on Wednesday. I'm a bit stressed by all the editing work I have to do, but I think I can get it done in time. Aside from that, our normal activities have been good and for ball night we played Volleyball which I enjoyed a lot as usual. On Wednesday we had Zone Conference, which was fun, and inspirational. It was kinda funny, President did a short segment about not getting into romantic relationships while on the mission, and during interviews he asked each of the Elders if there were any Sisters distracting them 🤣. I was very honest and told him there's a Sister I like but I haven't told her, nor do I intend to tell her, as that would be rude. I'd be creating a distraction for her, and I don’t want that. Maybe I'll be able to get in touch with her after the mission, maybe I won't, but now's not the time to focus on that.
On Saturday the youth hosted a dad jokes night which was actually super funny. They set up the stage, everyone had ice cream, and it was a good time. Unfortunately, Sunday morning Elder Tanner was very sick, and so was Elder Patterson so we did an emergency exchange so that the not sick people could go work while the sick people rest. Unfortunately, today I am now sick, so I guess we'll see how that goes.
That's all for now! My brain is to foggy to write any more. Even though I'm feeling sick, it gives me a reason to do nothing but chill and edit videos for the rest of the day. So,
It's a great day to be a missionary!
