Week 78 - the war has begun.
This week has been an interesting one. Lots of silly goofy shenanigans between missionaries. It all starts with one companionship, simply parking in front of another companionship.
You see, the cars we drive are owned by the church. Because of this, we have special rules to keep the cars (and ourselves) safe. One of those rules is that whenever the driver backs the car, the other person has to stand outside the car to guide them. This is rather obnoxious, so we avoid parking in places that we'd have to back in order to get out. Well, Sister Simpson and Sister McBeth parked there car right in front of ours when we were parked on the street in front of the church building, forcing us to back the car in order to leave. Not a big deal of course, just a silly little prank to slightly inconvenience us. Naturally, we retaliated by doing the same thing the next day. They did it again, and now it's escalated to a full prank war.
After war was declared, the sisters were eager to do something, so they tied a shirt to our mirror and left a law of chastity pamphlet on our windshield. Pretty lame so the same day after they had gone to their apartment for the night, we soaked the shirt in water and tied it to their mirror, so it'd freeze overnight. And since we were in their area, and their area has the only Crumbl Cookie in the city, we figured we'd get some just to rub it in. That's all that's happened but we have a lot of big plans for future pranks. We bought materials for said pranks today 😜

… suddenly… emojis.
In our district group chat, we like to send a bunch of emotions representing things we do in the morning to keep each other accountable. It started with a 💪 if you “own your morning” meaning you woke up on time, had a full hour of personal study, and planned out your day. Later 🥵 and 🥶 were added to represent a hot or cold shower (cold being highly encouraged by some of the Elders but I'll enjoy my hot ones thank you very much). Then everyone started trying to do 100 push-ups every day, represented by 😤. And here's where we're at now:

Today was painful. I got through 😤🦿🦾⚠️ and at that point I was too tired to continue lol.
That's about all for now! I'm kinda re-learning how to find people to teach and Saskatoon is VERY different from Morden. But things are coming along well nonetheless!
It's a great day to be a missionary!
