Week 87 - I'M GOING BACK TO FLIN FLON!!!

Oh yeah. I'm going to Flin Flon again. I'll be assigned to Thompson, but I'll get to visit Flin Flon on exchanges. Words cannot describe how excited I am. Also, I'll be serving with Elder Majeau! Elder Majeau is one of my favorite Elders in the mission, and he's the one who really got me into Magic: The Gathering. So yeah, we're going to have a good time.

As for the rest of this week it's been pretty good! A lot of our lessons fell through, and not a lot of our friends made it to church, but we started teaching 7 new friends! 2 of whom were another Chinese couple and get this: their names are Jing and Jong. I should just stop writing the email there, I can't think what else to say to follow that. We started teaching Hong and Pong one week, and Jing and Jong the next. Life couldn't be any better.

Rather than ending there I do have one other story to share: someone signed up online to meet with us, but the phone number didn't work so we decided to stop by the address we were given. Driving by it looked like a small office building, rather than a home, but we decided to stop anyway. We get out of the car and walking right then and there on the sidewalk was a nice dude walking an adorable puppy. You know me, the puppy caught my attention, so I stopped to pet it and started talking to him. Turns out Elder Seely helped him fix his car like a year and a half ago in Yorkton before he moved to Saskatoon. We asked him if he'd be interested in learning more about our church, and he was! So, we had a lesson that Sunday and we're having another over breakfast tomorrow!

We were also supposed to have a live podcast today, which I was super excited for, but unfortunately we had to cancel due to technology issues. We had a plan to borrow someone's laptop, but that fell through, so we managed to find another laptop we could borrow, but it was way too slow to run the stream. So that's a bummer but hey maybe I'll bring it back with Elder Majeau in Thompson!

Oh also, we had a nerf war today. It was a pretty dang good nerf war.

That's all for now! It's a great day to be a missionary!!
