Week 10 - Snow Shoveling, Snow Shoveling, and More Snow Shoveling
OH boy has it been a busy week. The title says it all. It's been snowing almost all week, and we put out a service ad on Facebook for anyone who needs their path and driveway shoveled. Well, we got a lot of responses. So that's been the majority of our week. Shoveling snow for nice elderly people who can't do it themselves. We intended to try to go to the Pas again this week, but given it's snowing and road conditions are terrible, and we didn't want a repeat of last week, we decided not to and ended up shoveling snow basically all day instead. Hopefully we can go to the Pas this Wednesday.
We also walked the dogs for the animal shelter as we usually do, which was SO FUN. The dogs were so playful in the snow, and it was so cute how they'd run and jump through the snow. We also helped at the food bank, as usual, and they were extra generous with how much food they gave us, so we didn't have to worry much about groceries today! Which is good because we probably spent a little more than we should have last week haha.
One of the best parts of the week was the mission wide devotional. Usually for zone conference, we have in person one transfer, and then online the next. But, big announcement, we're having an extra in person conference! Why? Because a member of the 70 will be talking with us! I'm super excited. It'll be super awesome hearing his council, and it'll be really nice seeing some other missionaries.
It's been a good week, and it's a great day to be a missionary! I am a little sore from all the shoveling though.
