Week 16 - New Companion!

Hey guys! Sorry I didn't post last week, it's been a weird couple of weeks. Transfers were quite an ordeal! The plan was to drive to Thompson, then Elder Mendenhall and Elder W. Jensen would drive to Winnipeg while I wait in Thompson for the two new guys to come up to Thompson, and I'd go back to Flin Flon with my new companion. That's what happened, except we got a surprise call from Thompson saying "hey, wanna drive over today and we can have an in person district council before we leave?" So we drove to Thompson a day or two sooner than we were expecting. Then, we left Thompson a bit later than we were expecting. So I ended up being in Thompson instead of Flin Flon for nearly a week. Not that I don't like Thompson, it's just that it's hard to do work in Flin Flon when I'm not in Flin Flon. It was cool hanging out with the guys in Thomspon though, lots of great people. We also attended the Thomspon Christmas party which was super fun!

We finally got back to Flin Flon from Thompson on Monday of last week, and we got back kinda late hence no post. This week has been pretty good! We've been doing well in Flin Flon, and my new companion is super cool! He plays guitar, and Pokémon, he's smart, and he's fun to hang out with! However, we're already not in Flin Flon again. Yesterday we drove back to Thompson, and today we're driving down to Winnipeg for Zone Conference tomorrow! I'm actually sitting in the back seat of the car as I'm writing lol.

Zone Conference is going to be so fun! We'll have the speaker we were supposed to have last time, we're having a talent show which is going to be really funny, and I'll get to see Elder Mendenhall! I miss him already.

That's about it for now, it's a great day to be a missionary.
