Week 35 - It snowed again

So yeah, it snowed again so that’s fun. Today is actually pretty nice though, 42F and sunny! We also got some good work done for the ESL Facebook page this week, a new listening practice video dropped today and a map of Winnipeg that shows the different in person classes available is scheduled for next Monday! Also, one of the church members here in Steinbach is a really good singer, so we’re looking to do another cover soon and include her in it! It’s kinda difficult learning these songs almost entirely by ear, but it’s a fun challenge!

Also, I made a ring out of my old guitar strings which is pretty cool! This is actually my second attempt making it, the first one was pretty messy looking but this one came out a lot better :D

Lastly, the foodbank we volunteer had a ton of french fries for some reason, so they gave us a box and now our freezer is full of french fries xD. It was funny, we were packing food bags for people, and we were instructed to put a big bag of fries in every single bag regardless of family size. We thought it was very odd, and we were wondering “why are we giving out so many fries” and “are we gonna run out?” But then they showed us to the FOUR WALK IN FREEZERS that were literally full to the brim with french fries. I mean literally! We opened the door, and all we saw was a flat wall of french fries, presumably with more fries behind it. Then we experienced that 3 more times. It was really funny, and I’ve eaten a lot of French Fries this week.
