Week 37 - Cat Friend

Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't post last week; we got a bit preoccupied with our new cat friend! Long story short, a friendly black cat greeted us when we got back to our apartment last week, and then followed us in and hung out for a while before leaving and wandering off 😂. After deep examination of the cat's behavior, and physical appearance, I believe she has a home nearby, and lives with a good family as an indoor-outdoor cat. Also, she may be pregnant. Regardless, she stopped by again yesterday and it was the same story.

In other news, our friend Amber was baptized! We're her 1 on 1 mentors for ESL, and we got to drive into Winnipeg last Sunday to attend her baptism! It was really nice, and the spirit was very strong. Lots of friends were there to support her, and even her family in China was able to join via Zoom.

That's all for now! Lots has happened, but it's hard to remember it all.  We have lots of exciting plans this week so my next post will likely be a good bit longer.
