Week 49 - 108!
Hey everyone!! This week was super awesome! We had zone conference which was super super good, and I feel like I heard a lot of what I needed this time around. Also, Elder Knapp's photos from his film camera developed so I'm going to dot some of those throughout this post just for fun.

We started filming a pinned video for the Hope Ahead page which is exciting, oh and we got our laptop repaired (thank goodness). It just needed a new hard drive. The old one died, not sure how or why, but I already knew what the issue was as I am a computer nerd. I could have replaced it myself, and if it were my laptop, I would have done so within a couple days of it breaking. But it's owned by the church and it's under warranty. So we had to call church support on a day they're open, talk to someone for what felt like an hour, get elevated to level 2 support, wait till the following day, talk to a new guy for about an hour to confirm the issue, schedule an appointment with a repair guy for the following day, and then sit around at the church for 10 hours because the appointment was a range for them to show up any time from 7am to 5pm. Quite the hassle, but we have our laptop back! So that's cool.

Also, we met some awesome people and had some awesome miracles this week! We tried to stop by someone in our area who hadn't been contacted in a while, and the house was abandoned. BUT we both felt prompted to knock on the house next door, so we did, and we met one of the sweetest people ever! Her name is Camila. She recently moved here from Mexico, and she's been praying for 2 things: to make new friends, and to learn English. We were like, hey, you could make lots of friends at church, and we have a free ESL class! She was pretty excited to hear about it and told us she might come. Then, the next day, the Lewvan Sisters just happened to stop at the same house, and Camila was so excited to meet them and was like "ok this definitely isn't coincidence." So she's planning to attend church now! Another miracle, we got in touch with a family that hasn't been to church in awhile, and they want their son to be baptized! We'll be going there and teaching them this week!

So yeah, lots of exciting stuff! You're probably wondering, what does 108 mean? Well, last year, the Canada Winnipeg Mission got 102 baptisms for the year. As of today, we're already at 108. Which is INSANE. We're going to totally crush our goal of 175 💪😤

It's a great day to be a missionary!
