Week 68 - 200
Hi!
Sorry I didn't email for a couple weeks! 2 weeks ago, I just didn't know what to write about, and last week we were in Winnipeg, so I didn't have any time to write one.
Winnipeg was super fun! We were there for district p day, district council the following day, and I stayed one more day for an exchange! All of that was super super fun. Especially since Elder Mendenhall (my trainer) is our district leader. We played a lot of Magic: The Gathering. It's kinda crazy how much I've gotten to be around Elder Mendenhall. Not complaining though! I absolutely love him.
Also, on the exchange I got to join their ward volleyball night which was a blast! I kinda miss playing volleyball. I'll have to play more when I get home.
This week was pretty cool too! Had some good lessons, one of them being with Holger! He's pretty cool. He's a little bit of a basher, but he is interested in learning more beyond the stuff that he disagrees with us on. So, we'll meet at least a couple more times and if he's willing to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it, then we could see some miracles happen.
Some less-good news from the week: we had to drop all 4 dates that we set last transfer due to various complications. 3 of them could still be baptized in the future, but it doesn't look like it will happen as soon as we thought. Also, I almost fainted while shoveling snow Friday morning. I was shoveling, but then I got super severe tunnel vision, tunnel hearing, dizziness, etc. I almost fell over so I sat down. I felt like I was gonna vomit, so we asked if I could use the washroom. I ended up on my knees leaning against the toilet for around 10 minutes before my head started to feel clear again. After that we went home, and I slept most of the day. What happened? No idea. Current top theories are flu, or ear infection. But I feel better now sooooo I'm just gonna keep doing work as normal until further notice 🤷♂️
Anyway, now that the less-good news is out of the way, let's get back to the good stuff!! We were talking to our group leader about starting a game night, and he suggested we do a Pokémon night instead as they had tried a game night previously and not many people attended. Yes, you heard me right. A Pokémon night, and it wasn't MY IDEA, it was our GROUP LEADER’S! So NATURALLY we fulfilled his request, and we have a weekly Pokémon club now! Our first meeting actually had a ton of people and we’re expecting even more to come this week!!

Last but not least, the title. 200. Well, our goal for the whole year last year in baptisms was 100. We got 102. This year our goal was 150. We hit 100 around halfway through the year and increased our goal to 175. As of yesterday, we're at 200 for the year. 🤯
It's a great day to be a missionary!
