Week 70 - Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas everybody! Sorry I missed a week again. Time got away from me, and I didn't have much to write for week 69 anyway. I ended up being sick that whole week, so there wasn't a lot to share. This past week was awesome though! Since I was feeling better, we got out and hit the ground running. We had our Christmas Zone Conference, met a lot of new people, baked some delicious cookies, and had an amazing Morden Group Christmas Party!
Christmas Zone Conference was super fun! We had a white elephant gift exchange, a talent show, as well as some absolutely amazing food. For the gift exchange I put in a Chick-fil-a sauce bottle, that was secretly filled with ketchup 😂

The cookies were a recipe I got from Elder McFadden. We like to call them “Spite Cookies” because of the backstory of where the recipe came from. It's pretty funny and I'll have to include it in another post so as not to make this one too long. Don't worry, I'll include the recipe as well!
And finally, the Morden Group Christmas Party went super super well. There was a ton of food, and quite a few people I've never met before! Our friend Jayden was able to come, and he had a ton of fun too!

After an awesome week we got to celebrate Christmas yesterday! After talking to our family's and opening presents we drove into Winnipeg to have dinner with some other missionaries at one of the senior missionaries’ places! It was super fun, and we've spent all day today playing games and stuff as well. As I'm writing this, our plan is to stay for just a little longer and then head back to Winkler so we can do some grocery shopping and laundry and stuff. Also, I gotta finish building the mini pinball machine my parents sent 🤣🤣

I hope everyone else had an awesome Christmas!
And as always, it's a great day to be a missionary!
